Kyrgyz Republic (ˈkɜrɡɨstæn/ kur-gi-stan; Kyrgyz & Russian: Кыргызстан, Kyrgyzstan, or Киргизия, Kirgiziya), officially the Kyrgyz Republic is one of the world's six independent Turkic states (along with Turkey, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan). Located in Central Asia, landlocked and mountainous, Kyrgyzstan is bordered by Kazakhstan to the north, Uzbekistan to the west, Tajikistan to the southwest and China to the east. Its capital and largest city is Bishkek.

Kyrgyzstan is officially a democratic parliamentary republic. A revolution in April 2010 overthrew the former president Kurmanbek Bakiyev and resulted in the adoption of a new constitution and the appointment of an interim government. Recent presidential elections were held in November 2011.

Kyrgyzstan is one of the six independent Turkic states. It is one of the active members of the Turkic Council and the TÜRKSOY community. The national language, Kyrgyz, is also closely related to the other Turkic languages, with which it shares strong cultural and historical ties.

Additionally, Kyrgyzstan is a member of the Commonwealth of Independent States, the Eurasian Economic Community, the Non-aligned movement and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation.

Kyrgyzstan is the most beautiful country with high mountains, deep forests and vast lakes.

Future ambitions ?

A lot of people in Kyrgyzstan are poor and I want to help poor children by building house for them.

I am purposeful and sympathetic. I love learning new things. I am ambitious and want to do my best for Kyrgyzstan.

Whatever does not kill you will only make you stronger.

Favourite food ?

Beshbarmak (national dish).

Favourite Music / Books ?

My favourite music is pop music and my favourite book is ‘Gone With The Wind’.

Do you have any pets?

Yes, I have a sheep dog.

What is the proudest moment of your life or most memorable day?

My mother was very sick and the likelihood of her recovery became less and less. I prayed everyday for my mother’s recovery, and one day she began to recover.

Special Talents ?

I am able to cook very tasty national dishes, plow and lagman.

Any other interesting facts ?

I helped my grandmother produce the national carpet, Shirdak, from pressed wool. The carpet was very beautiful and the whole experience was very exciting.
